I do so hope that Kim of http://silentlyheardonce.wordpress.com/ has received all SIX stars for the Blog of the Year poster. She and her work are beyond deserving, and I am very grateful to her for nominating The Mending Verse as well.

I’ve been a neglectful blogger of late (a repetitive confession); nevertheless, it is such a joy to be a part of this community.

While life has not allowed much time for blogging these past months, I could not let this year end without returning to this beloved home and wishing you all a very Happy New Year! I have enjoyed reading your words, viewing your photographs and artwork, soaking in the beauty of your poems, being ignited by your political and spiritual insights.
